I wish President Obama well as he leads the nation in a time of war and economic crisis.
May God bless President Obama and may God bless these United States of America.

Laura, that sure was a controversial post!
Ha! Ha! Ha!
I love you!
While one might not agree with his politics, you can't help but understand what a tremendous job he's committed to and how long we've come for this day to happen. I do hope that his vision is a good one for our country.
Nice sentiments Laura. I think no matter what your political beliefs, now is a time for cooperation. We are facing an incredible array of problems, as a nation. They are not Democrat, Republican, Conservative or Liberal problems, they are OUR problems. Our new President, as well as Congress needs our support, prayers, some luck and maybe even our fingers crossed! :) Seriously though, now is not the time for grid lock and name calling. It's time to put some of those kindergarten skills to use and work together to get things done.
I agree with you Laura.
All our TV stations and most radio stations in South Africa covered the full inauguration. It was great to watch and I wish him well as he has a huge task ahead of him.
Putting aside the fact that I didn't vote for him, he definitely has my prayers. It's a tough job and none of his predecessors have escaped criticism.
Definitely praying hard for our nation.
It is a historical day. I hope that America sees positive things happen with Obama in office.
Yes prayers are abound! I'm so excited to be part of such a historic moment!
Thanks everyone for your comments!
I agree, now is definitely the time for cooperation and for all of us to be praying for our President, nation, and world.
I did not vote for President Obama but I respect the office he holds and I wish him well as he faces many difficult days ahead.
"May God bless President Obama and may God bless these United States of America."
I think that says it all. My posts all week have been inspirational as a result of his historical and super-inspiring inauguration.
