Thursday night, my PC got infected with some bad-a$$ spyware and adware.
I stayed up until 1:00 a.m. trying to clean my PC, but though I put up a good fight, in the end I lost the battle.
So I took the PC into work with me Friday morning and had it wiped clean.
I have spent the last two days downloading software and setting everything back up. What a pain!
Anyway, as Frank Sinatra sang, "That's life." Sho nuff, Frank. I couldn't have said it any better.
I hope you're weekend is going great!

Hate to hear that. I feel the same way about every computer I've owned and I've been messing with them since I was 13-year-old (that's 25 years ago -- back when it was common to save programs on a cassette tape!)
Computers have gotten a lot more complicated over the years and viruses have just made things worse. I use AntiVir -- a free program that works great and updates with new definitions daily. Hopefully, that will be enough to avoid any trouble.
I know how frustrating all that can be, so I hope it doesn't happen to you again. Good luck!

That is awful! I had that happen and it was horrible. Thank goodness my husband is a computer programmer guy or I would be in constant trouble. Glad you got it worked out!
Great picture - expresses my sentiments exactly at some moments of computer war frustration!
Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts and words. It was a bummer. I can't count how many times my PC has been attacked by spam and adware. Seems like no matter what I do to protect myself I get hit. I downloaded Windows Live OneCare so hopefully I'm okay for awhile. :)
good stuff man, keep it coming...
Wow! Thank you! I always wanted to write in my site something like that. But I don’t want to compete with your article.
