It was a great season - probably the best season out of all of them. I was very happy that Kris emerged as the winner. I liked Adam's singing, but it bordered on bizarre from time to time. Kris is very mainstream and will sell lots of records.

I LOVED when Kara showed up Bikini Girl. HILARIOUS! The show was awesome. Kris singing with Keith Urban was great, and Adam with Kiss was just awesome! I was in Conway earlier in the week visiting family and the town was just nuts for Kris! They were selling t-shirts everywhere, and my cousin graduated from HS at UCA the night everyone was at the football field watching the performances. It was so much fun to be in the middle of the crowd. Plus, I got me some Stoby's cheese! :)

I really did think this was a fabulous season finale! I still can't believe they got all of those huge 80's stars in one venue, all on the same night!
I also have to admit, we voted for Kris Allen and I was so happy, and surprised, when he won! I think Adam Lambert, while he may not have won last night, will have no problem getting a record deal.

My favorite part of the night was when Rod Stewart sang "Maggie May". He looked so natural with his performance. I'd like to get that live version of the song on Dylan's iPod.

A close second was when Keith Urban and Kris Allen duet of "Kiss A Girl." Maybe you can get that on iTunes as well.

I'm so glad that Kris Allen, just a regular guy, won. It's nice to see that you can be humble and still win.
