So, how do you get back into the blogging thing? Just do it! :) I've been meaning to get back into the swing of blogging for a while now but just kept putting it off.
I've been busy rearing my toddler (Brady turned 4 years old yesterday... can you believe it?), taking care of the rest of the family, working some insane hours at my 8-5 (yeah, right!) job, and in my spare time - playing with my iPhone!
I admit it. Having an
iPhone has changed my life. I've been using it for about a year and a half now. I didn't care for
Facebook at all... until I got an iPhone! I absolutely love the Facebook app. I have thoroughly enjoyed keeping up with all my friends and family through Facebook. It's so cool! I have tons and tons of apps. So in short, I'm hooked!
I don't know if you remember
me writing about Toad Suck Daze or not. But it's a pretty big deal in
Conway, Arkansas! :) It's an annual festival that occurs the first weekend of May and one of the highlights of
Toad Suck Daze (for me anyway) is a contest called '
Stuck on a Truck'.
I have often wanted to be a contestant on '
Stuck on a Truck' and this year is no exception. I started registering at many of the sponsor locations last weekend. Little Rock radio station,
The Point 94.1, started calling out names a couple days ago and I've been tuning in to listen for my name to be announced. If I become a contestant, I will do a blog post and let everyone know.
Well, that's all for now. I'll do my best to post something every now and then. I've just got to figure out how to blog using my iPhone.
