Rome wasn't built in a day, right? It's all about the journey - not the destination. Sounds good anyway. The fact is, I'm still fat but on the other hand, at least I'm headed in the right direction.
Following are my BEFORE (taken June 6, 2008) and AFTER (taken July 13, 2008) pictures - showing how I looked at the beginning of the Slim in 6 program and the way I look now. I lost a total of 9 ½ inches and 4.2 pounds!

I'm happy about the loss in inches, but not so much about the weight loss.
The reason I didn't lose much weight is because I didn't follow any kind of diet these last six weeks. All I did was cut back on what I ate. Obviously, I need to make some changes in this area.
For breakfast everyday, I had carrot juice and took my supplements. Thirty minutes later, I ate a scrambled egg and a piece of toast. Around 2pm, I ate lunch - whatever I wanted - as this was my main meal of the day. When I got home from work, I did the Slim in 6 workout. Afterwards, I wasn't hungry so I didn't eat dinner. If I ate anything, it was watermelon or something light like that.
I've definitely come a long way for someone who hates exercise. I completed the Slim in 6 program, which was extremely challenging. I'm proud of myself for that!
I'm calling what I accomplished so far 'Phase 1'. Now, it's on to 'Phase 2'. I started on Tae Bo Basic tonight just to re-familiarize myself with the moves. I was surprised to find that I could easily do the workout. So, tomorrow I start Tae Bo Advanced.
If you're struggling to lose weight, hang in there and whatever you do - don't give up! If a fatty like me can do it... YOU CAN DO IT!

Great job with the exercise. Did you know eating too little can actually lead to weight gain? Maybe you aren't eating ENOUGH!
